DSE AudioAmp intercepts Windows sound via a virtual audio cable. VB-Cable is a free driver that creates this cable in seconds.

Go to the official website and download the free package.

Extract the zip, right-click on VBCABLE_Setup_x64.exe → Run as administrator. Restart Windows.
Set CABLE In as default output
Go to Settings → System → Sound. Under Output, select CABLE In as the default device.
After this step, sound from your applications passes through CABLE In. DSE AudioAmp captures it, processes it, and sends it to your headphones or speakers. VB-Cable is a reputable software used by millions of streamers and musicians.
Launching DSE AudioAmp
Download the executable
Click the download button below. No installation, no Python required.
Launch ampli_windows.exe
Double-click the file. Windows may show a SmartScreen warning — click "More info" then "Run anyway".
The amplifier connects automatically
DSE AudioAmp detects CABLE Output and your output device. The bottom bar displays "● Active" in green.
Adjust volume in Windows
Turn up your headphone/speaker volume to 80–100% in Windows settings, then use the amplifier's Gain to fine-tune.
What the amplifier does
Preamp / Gain
Amplify the signal up to 20× independently of Windows volume. Ideal for equalizing sources that are too quiet.
3-band equalizer
Bass (200 Hz), mids (1 kHz), treble (8 kHz). Each band from −12 to +12 dB with precision biquad filters.
Dynamic compressor
Reduces volume gaps between sources. No more ads blasting after a quiet film.
Stereo LED VU meter
Visualize left/right audio levels in real time. Green, amber, red — 30 fps refresh rate.
Automatic detection
The amplifier finds CABLE Output and your output device on its own. No manual configuration.
One-click bypass
Instantly disable all processing to compare processed and raw sound.
